Kahoʻolawe Island Reserve Commission Biosecurity ProgramThe ultimate purpose of this program is take a proactive approach to invasive species management on Kaho`olawe to prevent new introductions and eradicate target species through the creation and implementation of a comprehensive biosecurity plan. The main focus of this project is to target the ports of entry and departure while identifying vectors and implementing biosecurity protocols. All people who access the island reserve will be introduced to these procedures at the time of the required orientation. Other ports affected will be Maʻalaea and Lahaina. Biosecurity Information
